...

"...and say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty;

that they should not flaunt their adornment beyond what appears thereof...and Oh believers, turn
altogether towards Allah so that you may attain bliss..."

Oh Allah I ask you for the best affair, the best supplication, the best success, the best knowledge, the best deed, the best reward, the best life, and the best death... Oh Allah if You know that a matter is good for me in my livelihood and in my life in the Hereafrer, then make it easy for me and bless it, and if You know that a matter is evil for me in my livelihood and my life in the Hereafter, then keep it away from me and keep me away from it, and choose what's right for me wherever it may be, and make me pleased with it...Oh Allah keep me alive as long as life is better, and let me die if death is better for me....Ameen...

this is our life, and its ending, one minute at a time....

Lift the veil from your heart to see the heart of purity

They say, "Oh, poor girl, you're so beautiful you know
It’s a shame that you cover up your beauty so.I just smile and graciously responds reassuringly:
"This 'beauty' that I have is just a simple part of me.This body that I have, no stranger has the right to see. These long clothes, this shawl I wear, ensure my modesty.Faith is more essential than fashion, wouldn't you agree?

This Hijab: This mark of piety -Is an act of faith, a symbol -
For all the world to see
A simple cloth, to preserve my dignity
So, lift the veil from your heart to see the heart of purity

They tell me, "Girl, don't you know this is the West and you are free? You don't need to be oppressed, ashamed of your femininity.
"I just shake my head and speak so assuredly:"See the bill-boards and the magazines that line the check-out isles - With their phoney painted faces and their air-brushed smiles? Well, their sheer clothes and low-cut gowns - they are really not for me...
You call it freedom, and I call it anarchy.

This Hijab: This mark of piety -Is an act of faith, a symbol -
For all the world to see
A simple cloth, to preserve my dignity
So, lift the veil from your heart to see the heart of purity

May Allah give me and all the sisters out there the Taufeeq of hijaab inshAllah Ta'ala! Ameen..
